Dr. Daniel Tinker is a board-certified dermatologist acclaimed for his expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology, surgical skin cancer treatment, and involvement in clinical trials. Through involvement in clinical  trials, his patients are offered the newest and most effective treatments emerging in the field of dermatology. He has a special interest in managing complex dermatology disease states such as psoriasis, vitiligo, hyperhidrosis, atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, alopecia, and hidradenitis suppurativa.

Dr. Tinker offers a broad range of dermatological procedures, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser procedures to treat myriad states including acne scarring, skin discoloration, and broken veins.

Dr. Tinker graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Medical Degree with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship in Portland, Oregon. After he began his extensive training in the field of Dermatology, completing a two-year Dermatology Research Fellowship at St. Louis University. During the fellowship, Dr. Tinker was an MD Sub-Investigator in 40 pivotal clinical trials in medical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.  Dr. Tinker remained at St. Louis University for his formal residency training in Dermatology. He has been published as first author numerous times in peer-reviewed Dermatology journals.

Dr. Tinker’s approach to Dermatology goes beyond medical expertise; he deeply cares for the emotional well-being of his patients and values the uniquely special bond between physicians and patients. Funny enough, Dr. Tinker is not a St. Louis native like his husband and founder of Deluxe Dermatology, Dr. Duane Dilworth. He completed his formative education in Oklahoma. At just the right time, during his 4th year of medical school, while rotating at St. Louis University, he met his future husband Dr. Dilworth who was completing his senior year of Dermatology residency! Dr. Tinker loves spending time with family and friends, working out, scuba diving, and traveling the world spreading the word that glowing skin is always in!
