Warts

Warts are a common viral infection, caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) strains and are found most commonly in children but this virus can be found in all age groups. HPV is transmitted between anyone sharing close quarters, especially if sharing towels or other items that come in contact with the virus. Lesions are typically small bumps that can arise anywhere on the skin. They may be inflamed and painful but often are asymptomatic. Warts can be treated with many modalities including: freezing, curettage, or topical treatments
